FUn race! I totally overslept, my alarm was set incorrectly, but with a little bit of speeding and some help from my friend Sean who grabbed my bib and stuff, I made it to the race just a minute before it started, and Sean and I both started the race about 6 minutes after everyone else. It was kinda fun catching up to everyone and weaving between everyone. It also felt good to always be looking up and looking to pass someone. I took 5th overall, and completed my goal of going under 1:30. Not my best achievement in running of course but I'm super happy that I could do that, especially considering the schedule as a second year medical student. I wanna run more, and race more. I'm especially excited for the ultra marathon race in march. Also, the guy that won the race had a dog hooked up to his waiste that was full on pulling him the whole way, so I don't consider him the winner. Anyway, good stuff ahead!
